Aaron Cook

Biography
Aaron Cook is an Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science. His research foci involve pharmacotherapy in those with neurocritical illness, clinical pharmacokinetics, and issues in the pharmacy profession related to residency training. Dr. Cook’s practice is focused on caring for patients in the neurocritical care area, particularly those with stroke and traumatic brain injury. Dr. Cook has been active in the Neurocritical Care Society as previous chair of the pharmacy section and the pharmacy research group. He has also co-chaired the NCS guidelines committee, where he also served on the writing group for the anticoagulation reversal guidelines and co-chaired the writing group for the intracranial pressure treatment guidelines. He has over 110 publications and over 50 regional or national platform presentations, many of which are focused on original research and scholarship in his clinical practice and pharmacy residency training.
