Prof. Muehlschlegel is a Professor of Neurology, and Anesthesiology/Critical Care Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is a clinician-researcher, and board-certified neurologist with sub-specialization in Neurocritical Care who has built (from the ground up) and grown a nationally and internationally known clinical research program in shared decision-making, prognostication, and family-centered decision aid interventions in hyperacute neurological diseases. In addition, she is a leader in academic faculty development. She has served the institutional faculty development programs at her previous institution, the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School for the past decade and has directed the institution’s Junior Faculty Development Program, a national, intensive model for junior faculty development, for the past five years.
