I started out as a rehabilitation physics instructor and later on switched to become a neuroscience nurse. To become a nurse in The Netherlands you have to write a thesis about a (nursing) subject. Mine became Humour as A Nursing Intervention, which I later published in Australia. Now more then a decade later I give presentations all over the world about the awareness of how one can use Humour As A Nursing Intervention.
