Hannah Kirsch

Biography
Dr. Kirsch graduated from residency at the University of California, San Francisco and neurocritical care fellowship at New York Presbyterian: Columbia & Cornell Universities. As a neurocritical care attending at Stanford University, her research interests focus on serious illness conversations and end of life in neurologically ill patients. She has spoken and educated nationally on these topics, and been instrumental in publishing new guidelines for research and education in neuropalliative care-related topics. She is also program director of the Stanford neurocritical care fellowship, physician lead for the Stanford Hospital general inpatient hospice program, and vice-chair of the American Academy of Neurology's palliative care section.
