Kelly Rath, DNP, ACNP-BC, FNCS, serves as the lead nurse practitioner in the Neurosciences Critical Care Unit at the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute. She has been board certified as an acute care nurse practitioner since 2012. Prior to joining the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute in 2015, Kelly worked at The Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center in their Neurocritical Care Unit.

Kelly’s academic background includes a Bachelor’s of Science from The Ohio State University, a Master’s of Science from The Ohio State University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Cincinnati. She has a special interest in POCUS, including APP training and credentialing.
