Biography
Morteza Zabihi is a biomedical engineer and scientist with over 10 years of experience specializing in physiological signal processing and machine learning (ML). He currently serves as Associate Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) NeuroAI Center and instructor at Harvard Medical School, where he focuses on coma recovery and functional outcomes following acute brain injuries and cardiac arrest. His research expertise includes developing ML algorithms for clinical applications such as seizure detection, cardiac anomaly detection, and early sepsis prediction in critically ill patients. His work has resulted in 20 publications with over 1000 citations, and he has received five international awards for his contributions to scientific competitions.
